Min­is­ter di­rects work on school, sports com­plex

PESHAWAR—Master Plans of Ecol Fa­tima Al Fihri Model School Mar­dan and BISE Sports Com­plex Mar­dan have been ap­proved and au­thor­i­ties con­cerned have been di­rected to start im­me­di­ate work on it and en­sure its timely com­ple­tion.

It was de­clared that no de­lay­ing tac­tics would be tol­er­ated on th­ese im­por­tant projects. Ap­proval to this ef­fect was given in a high level meet­ing held with Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa Min­is­ter for El­e­men­tary and Sec­ondary Ed­u­ca­tion Muham­mad Atif Khan in the chair at Peshawar.

The meet­ing be­side oth­ers was also at­tended by the Spe­cial Sec­re­tary Ed­u­ca­tion Qaiser Alam, Addi-tional Sec­re­tary Shahid So­hail, Chief Plan­ning Offi-cer Idrees Khan, DC Mar­dan and Chair­man BISE Mar­dan.

The meet­ing was in­formed that the said School would be com­pleted at an es­ti­mated cost of Rs.220 mil­lion while the Sports Com­plex at a cost of Rs 299.29 mil­lion in a record time of one year.—APP
