Six in­jured in roof col­lapse

LAHORE—At least six peo­ple on Satur­day badly in­jured as a roof of a house col­lapsed of a di­lap­i­dated houses near old Ravi Bridge.

Ac­cord­ing to de­tails, a roof of di­lap­i­dated house caved in near old Ravi bridge rail­way cross­ing when res­i­dents were sleep­ing. The mishap has badly in­jured as many as six peo­ple who were shifted to the Mayo Hos­pi­tal for fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

The vic­tims have been iden­ti­fied as three-year-old Aleesha, eight-year-old Zeenat, 22-year-old Aa­sia, 49-year-old Zainab, 35-year-old Umar and 30-year-old Asif.

The lo­cals said that last rain has ram­shackle the houses due to which the in­ci­dent took place. They said that the houses are not worth liv­ing and can­not bear fur­ther rains.
