Ra­mazan pack­age ben­e­fit­ing peo­ple

— Pun­jab LA­HORE Chief Min­is­ter Muham­mad She­hbaz Sharif has said that govern­ment has given Ra­mazan Pack­age of bil­lions of ru­pees for pro­vid­ing re­lief to the peo­ple un­der which qual­ity es­sen­tial items are be­ing made avail­able for the cit­i­zens at cheaper rates in Ra­mazan bazaars.

He said that com­mon man is ben­e­fit­ing from Ra­madan Pack­age worth bil­lions of ru­pees of Pun­jab govern­ment. He said that Ra­mazan bazaars are play­ing a vi­tal role in pro­vid­ing re­lief to the peo­ple in the real sense dur­ing the holy month be­cause es­sen­tial com­modi­ties, fruits, veg­eta­bles and pulses are be­ing pro­vided in Ra­mazan bazaars at con­ces­sion­ary rates.

He said that in­dis­crim­i­nate ac­tion is be­ing taken against hoard­ers and prof­i­teers and peo­ple are ben­e­fit­ing from fruits of Ra­mazan pack­age.

The Chief Min­is­ter said that flour, pulses, sugar, ghee, veg­eta­bles, fruits and chicken are be­ing sold on cheaper rates in more than 300 Ra­mazan bazaars set up across the prov­ince. He said that pro­vi­sion of qual­ity ed­i­ble items to the peo­ple is be­ing en­sured in the holy month and steps will also be taken in fu­ture for pro­vid­ing re­lief to the masses.
