Earth­quake jolts Peshawar

PESHAWAR—An earth­quake on Sun­day jolted Peshawar and other cities of Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa.

A Pak­istan Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Depart­ment (PMD) of­fi­cial told APP that the mag­ni­tude on Richter Scale was 5.3 with its epi­cen­ter in Hin­dukush ranges 204 kilo­me­ters in depth.

It may be men­tioned that an eartquake of 5.1 mag­ni­tude on Richter Scale also jolted Peshawar on Fri­day and Thurs­day last.—APP
