Mu­sadiq pro­pels Medicam CC into semi in 29th Aga Khan Gymkhana

KARACHI—All-round show by Mu­sadiq guided De­fend­ing Cham­pion Medicam CC to move into Semi fi­nal when they de­feated Dubai Is­lamic Bank by 6 wick­ets in 29th Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramzan T-20 Cup Cricket Tour­na­ment at Aga Khan Gym ground Gar­den West.

Mu­sadiq de­clared Man of the Match as he made 36 runs by hit­ting two bound­aries and one six in 30 balls and grabbed one wicket for 20 runs. Dubai Is­lamic Bank (DIB) bat­ting first ended at 153 runs for the loss of 7 wick­ets in al­lot­ted 20 overs.

Faisal Mubashir crashed 38-ball knock of 43 by tow­er­ing one six and one four, Eh­san Ali gave good dis­play in the in­ning where he blasted 38 off 18 ball by strik­ing 7 fours and one bound­ary but it could not work to spin DIB to the vic­tory.

Hus­sain Talat cap­tured two wick­ets for 23 runs while all-round Mus­sadiq one for 20 runs. In re­ply, Medium Cricket Club achieved the tar­get in 17.3 overs with loss of 4 wick­ets. Taimoor Sul­tan struck 43 in 31 balls by hit­ting three fours and three sixes and Khalid Latif 36 runs with the aid of 4 fours and two sixes in 12 balls.—APP
