IS­LAM­ABAD— The Sui South­ern Gas Com­pany Limited (SSGCL) and the Quetta-Zarghoon gas pipe­line af­fected peo­ple have ap­pre­ci­ated ef­forts of Min­is­ter of State for Petroleum and Nat­u­ral Re­sources Jam Ka­mal Khan for pay­ment of the muchde­layed com­pen­sa­tion amount. “The min­is­ter, af­ter mak­ing spe­cial ef­forts, had moved SSGC re­gard­ing much de­layed is­sue of giv­ing com­pen­sa­tion money to the Rev­enue author­i­ties of Quetta re­gard­ing Quetta-Zarghoon Pipe­line for on­ward dis­burse­ment to the af­fected landown­ers,” said a press re­lease Tues­day. The SSGCL thanked Min­is­ter of State for Petroleum and Nat­u­ral Re­sources Jam Ka­mal Khan for spe­cial ef­forts to re­solve the com­pen­sa­tion is­sue am­i­ca­bly and re­lease of the re­quired funds.—APP
