Nine mo­bile ve­teri­nary dis­pen­saries es­tab­lished

DG KHAN—Dis­trict Of­fi­cer Live­stock Dr Muham­mad Mu­nir said that nine mo­bile ve­teri­nary dis­pen­saries had been set up in the dis­trict. Ad­dress­ing the in­au­gu­ra­tion cer­e­mony here on Tues­day, he said that dis­pen­saries had been set up in tribal area, Kot Chatha, DG Khan and Tounsa tehsils to pro­vide med­i­cal fa­cil­i­ties to cat­tle of these ar­eas. He said that ve­hi­cles of each deputy dis­trict of­fi­cer live­stock have also been con­verted into mo­bile dis­pen­saries.

He said that tour sched­ule had been an­nounced for the month of July in which dis­pen­saries would be avail­able four days in tribal ar­eas and six days in other ar­eas. He said that fa­cil­ity of mo­bile dis­pen­saries would be avail­able for ev­ery one with­out any dis­crim­i­na­tion. He urged cit­i­zens to con­tact de­part­ment’s helpline 080009211 round the clock for any emer­gency.

Un­der the su­per­vi­sion of Sec­re­tary Live­stock Pun­jab Dr Naseem Sadiq, the Live­stock de­part­ment had dis­trib­uted free an­i­mals among de­serv­ing peo­ple, he added.
