Nine mobile veterinary dispensaries established
DG KHAN—District Officer Livestock Dr Muhammad Munir said that nine mobile veterinary dispensaries had been set up in the district. Addressing the inauguration ceremony here on Tuesday, he said that dispensaries had been set up in tribal area, Kot Chatha, DG Khan and Tounsa tehsils to provide medical facilities to cattle of these areas. He said that vehicles of each deputy district officer livestock have also been converted into mobile dispensaries.
He said that tour schedule had been announced for the month of July in which dispensaries would be available four days in tribal areas and six days in other areas. He said that facility of mobile dispensaries would be available for every one without any discrimination. He urged citizens to contact department’s helpline 080009211 round the clock for any emergency.
Under the supervision of Secretary Livestock Punjab Dr Naseem Sadiq, the Livestock department had distributed free animals among deserving people, he added.
