Balochistan budget

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION -

SANA SAMAD CM Sanaullah Zahri announced recently over Rs 289.35 billion rupees yearly budget for Balochistan. The Balochistan government provided Rs 28 billion for education, 15 percent increased compare to last year budget. Chief Minister stated to provide 14,000 scholarships for the students in national and international educational institutions.

More than 80 primary schools will be upgraded to middle schools and nearly 70 middle schools to be upgraded to high schools. Beside this, Medical Colleges would be established in many areas of Balochistan including Turbat, Loralia and Khuzdar. I appreciate CM Balochistan for providing quality education for the development of Balochistan. Still question arises if this budget would bring changes? As we have seen that last few budgets brought nothing but failure. There is no shortage of capable individuals in Balochistan only concerned authorities should empower them to work for poor people’s prosperity. — Via email
