Parking problems

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - AYESHA FATIMA

I want to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards the parking problems. Finding parking space in big cities has become a real problem in recent years; it is even very difficult to find parking in the city centres of medium and larger cities around the country.

An increase in construction and the multiplying numbers of cars also lead to problems with parking in many residential areas. The development of shopping centres as we know them today is an extremely recent phenomenon. The mushroom growth of shopping malls, limited space available for parking and growing number of cars, coupled with the corruption and limited capacity of the law enforcing traffic police, are the man reasons for the traffic mess in our medium and big cities. It is my humble request to the concerned authorities to take an immediate action and let us give a chance to thanks. — Karachi
