Shoaib Mansoor is one of the most popular music composer and director of television and film. He is a versatile artist, living legend and genius, who is not only appreciated in Pakistan but also in each part of the world for the dedication and commitment, he has for his work. He has always raised some serious and real issues through his movies.

He became internationally known and popular for directing TV shows and dramas including Ankahi, comedy series Fifty Fifty, Sunehray Din and Alpha Bravo Charlie. Mansoor also found critical acclaim for his musical abilities and is known for his soul-stirring renditions of mystic poetry and he also directed few unforgettable music videos like Supreme Ishq. He also gave us critically acclaimed film Khuda Kay Liye and Bol. Mansoor won many awards for his work, and won Sitara-e-Imtiaz Award from the President of Pakistan in 2007.

Sometime, I wonder why this living legend does not appear in TV shows, promotional events as we have not ever seen him in such shows and events and then I found that such legends live in their own world. These are the people who don’t desire for any worldly fame, appreciation and award. They find soul satisfaction in their unprecedented, impeccable and mesmerizing work.

Unfortunately, in our country we don’t pay tribute to such legends; we do not acknowledge and appreciate their indomitable will, stoic courage and an overwhelming love of the art and humanity that resonates in their heart which leads to an enlightened and peaceful Pakistan. These are people who convey a soft image of the country and the nation to the world through their finest work. Undoubtedly, he is a befitting source of real and true inspiration for coming generation. —Karachi
