OIC SG con­demns Istanbul at­tacks

JED­DAH—The Or­ga­ni­za­tion of Is­lamic Co­op­er­a­tion (OIC)con­demned in the strongest terms the ter­ror­ist at­tacks on Ataturk In­ter­na­tional Air­port in Istanbul, Turkeyon Tues­day evening, 28 June 2016, killing and maim­ing many in­no­cent peo­ple. Madani ex­pressed his sin­cere con­do­lences to the fam­i­lies of the vic­tims and the Gov­ern­ment and peo­ple of Turkey and wished the in­jured quick re­cov­ery.

The OIC Sec­re­tary Gen­eral,Iyad Ameen Madani re­it­er­ated the sol­i­dar­ity of OIC and its firm sup­port for Turkey in th­ese crit­i­cal, painful cir­cum­stances and for its pro­ce­dures in con­fronting the con­se­quences of this crime and ap­pre­hend­ing those who stand be­hind it. He also ex­pressed sup­port of all the ded­i­cated ef­forts by Turkey in com­bat­ing ter­ror­ism.—Email
