AC re­views anti-dengue ar­range­ments

RAWALPINDI—As­sis­tant Com­mis­sioner City Maleha Ja­mal on Thurs­day said that all re­sources are be­ing uti­lized for deal­ing with Dengue and con­cerned de­part­ments are fully mo­bi­lized to cope with the sit­u­a­tion. Pre­sid­ing over a meet­ing to re­view dengue sit­u­a­tion and mea­sures taken for its erad­i­ca­tion, she di­rected that anti-dengue reg­u­la­tions be fully im­ple­mented and stern ac­tion be taken those fail­ing to com­ply with the laws.

She said that clean­li­ness of bus stands, grave­yards, godowns, junk­yards, nurs­eries and other pub­lic places should be en­sured. She di­rected that fog­ging should be car­ried out in those union coun­cils where dengue pa­tients and lar­vae is be­ing re­ported.
