LA­HORE— Par­lia­men­tary Sec­re­tary for Health Pun­jab Khawaja Im­ran Nazir on Fri­day said that strict ac­tion would be taken against the man­u­fac­tur­ers of sub­stan­dard, spu­ri­ous and fake medicines. Talk­ing to APP, he said that on the di­rec­tion of Pun­jab Chief Min­is­ter Muham­mad She­hbaz Sharif, crack-down against the sale of spu­ri­ous, sub­stan­dard and un­li­censed medicines has been ini­ti­ated. He said that th­ese fac­to­ries would be sealed im­me­di­ately, adding that the el­e­ments in­volved in this evil trade de­serve zero tol­er­ance. Khawaja Im­ran Nazir said the gov­ern­ment would made Pun­jab Drug Au­thor­ity more pow­er­ful to take ac­tion against the big fish.
