Pakistan Observer - - NATIONAL -

ISLAMABAD—PML-N leader MNA Talal Chaudhary on Friday said that PTI leader Imran Khan’s sister Dr Uzma’s allegation of misbehaviour by policemen, a part of Maryum Nawaz security protocol in Gulberg area of Lahore, was baseless.

Talking to a private news channel , he said there was no report of such an incident and added Maryam Nawaz was unduly being dragged by Dr Uzma Khan.

“When this incident occurred Maryam was in Islamabad. There might have been some misunderstanding to Dr Fauzia. She should not blame anyone without confirmation. She must apologise for her baseless allegations,” Chaudhry said.

Replying to a question, he said it could not be confirmed that whose protocol that was. He said that Dr Uzma’s allegation was based on misunderstanding as he himself phoned Maryum Nawaz just after that incident and he was told that she was in Islamabad and not in Lahore.
