8 law­break­ers ar­rested

RAWALPINDI—Po­lice un­der an on­go­ing drive against anti-so­cial el­e­ments have rounded up eight law­break­ers in­clud­ing a drunk­ard be­sides re­cov­er­ing 130 grams char­ras, 15 bot­tles of liquor, four pis­tols 30 bore with 10 rounds and a re­peater 12 bore from the pos­ses­sion of ar­rested ac­cused, said a po­lice spokesman on Fri­day.

He said, Civil Line po­lice held Ghu­lam Ab­bas for hav­ing 130 grams char­ras. Gu­jar Khan po­lice net­ted Ta­hair Mah­mood and re­cov­ered 15 bot­tles of liquor.

Civil Line po­lice rounded up Nadeem Baig who was al­legedly un­der the in­flu­ence of al­co­hol.

Sad­dar Wah po­lice ar­rested Sa­jid Hus­sain for pos­sess­ing a 30 bore pis­tol and four rounds. Civil Line po­lice ap­pre­hended Zul­fiqar Ashraf for car­ry­ing a 30 bore pis­tol and four rounds while Bi­lal was sent be­hind the bars on re­cov­ery of a 30 bore pis­tol and four rounds.

Waris Khan po­lice nabbed So­hail Ahmed and seized a pis­tol. Sad­dar Ba­roni po­lice ar­rested Ali Raza and re­cov­ered a 12 bore re­peater.—APP
