VC for up­lift of Ghazi Univer­sity

BA­HAWALPUR—Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chan­cel­lor the Is­lamia Univer­sity of Ba­hawalpur and Ghazi Univer­sity Dera Ghazi Khan has said that con­crete steps will be taken to de­velop Ghazi Univer­sity into a fullfledged univer­sity with the sup­port of both fed­eral and pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ments.

He be­lieves in speedy ac­tions to re­solves aca­demic and ad­min­is­tra­tive mat­ters and in this con­nec­tion short, medium and long-term pol­icy guide­line will be im­ple­mented.

He will soon con­tact with the Higher Ed­u­ca­tion Com­mis­sion of Pak­istan, Pun­jab Higher Ed­u­ca­tion Com­mis­sion and Higher Ed­u­ca­tion De­part­ment for the up gra­da­tion and de­vel­op­ment of the cam­puses and re­solve var­i­ous aca­demic and ad­min­is­tra­tive prob­lems.

The Vice Chan­cel­lor ex­changed these views in a meet­ing with se­nior faculty mem­bers, ad­min­is­tra­tive staff and em­ploy­ees dur­ing his first visit to the univer­sity after as­sum­ing the charge as­signed by the Pun­jab Gov­ern­ment.
