10-point Kash­mir res­o­lu­tion call gets mas­sive en­dorse­ment

SRINAGAR—In oc­cu­pied Kash­mir, a 10-point res­o­lu­tion seek­ing peace­ful res­o­lu­tion of Kash­mir and Pales­tine dis­putes were adopted, sup­ported and en­dorsed by thou­sands of peo­ple in all main mosques, shrines and Im­mam­baras of Kash­mir on Ju­matul Wida.

A state­ment is­sued by the All Par­ties Hur­riyet Con­fer­ence in Srinagar said, op­pos­ing es­tab­lish­ment of Sainik and Pan­dit colonies, the res­o­lu­tion de­manded com­plete ban on sale and con­sump­tion of liquor in tant party to this dis­pute and it can’t be solved by ig­nor­ing the sac­ri­fices and opin­ion of the peo­ple of the re­gion,” the res­o­lu­tion reads. It ap­pealed peo­ple to re­spect the sa­cred blood of mar­tyrs and show a united face and de­ter­mi­na­tion against the In­dian op­pres­sion.
