Record forex re­serves due to govt’s pru­dent poli­cies: Dast­gir

ISLAMABAD—Com­merce Min­is­ter Khur­ram Dast­gir has said that for­eign ex­changes re­serves have crossed twenty-three bil­lion dol­lars for the first time in the coun­try’s his­tory due to the gov­ern­ment’s ef­fec­tive poli­cies.

Talk­ing to lo­cal gov­ern­ment rep­re­sen­ta­tives in Gu­jran­wala, he re­it­er­ated the gov­ern­ment’s re­solve to ac­com­plish its agenda of mak­ing the coun­try peace­ful, de­vel­oped, and pros­per­ous, Ra­dio Pak­istan re­ported. He said ter­ror­ism has been elim­i­nated to a great ex­tent, and econ­omy has been sta­bi­lized in the coun­try.—APP
