Bod­ies of three Pak­ista­nis killed in Kuwait fire reach home

LAHORE—Bod­ies of three mem­bers of a fam­ily who scorched to death in Kuwait were shifted to Lahore on Mon­day and will be buried in the na­tive town Mian Channu.

The bod­ies were brought to Lahore by a Pak­istan In­ter­na­tional Air­lines (PIA) flight PK-206 af­ter iden­ti­fi­ca­tion. The other six mem­bers have been buried in Kuwait as ac­cord­ing to the au­thor­i­ties their corpses were be­yond recog­ni­tion.

The in­ci­dent hap­pened in Kuwait’s city Far­waniya, where fire broke out be­cause of short circuit. Muham­mad Asif’s brother, Muham­mad Tariq was se­verely in­jured and was in crit­i­cal con­di­tion.
