Police gets reward for excellence
PESHAWAR—Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani today awarded Karak police officials on recovery of money stolen from oil and gas exploring China Company in a ceremony held here at Central Police Office.
The accountant of an oil and gas exploration company of China was carrying salaries of the company employees however when they reached near Algada Sarobi one Abdul Shaheen who had remained as camp worker employee duly armed with Kalashnikov along with other four unknown persons intercepted their vehicle and snatched Rs1522000 from them.
On receiving the information the police held nakabandi on Bannu Kohat Road. Meanwhile stolen pickup was approaching and on seeing police party the pick up turn back and fled away. On this occasion an encounter took place be-tween the police and the dacoits and after 45 minutes encounter the police arrested the main accused in injured condition and recovered from him the stolen money.
Addressing on the occasion the IGP Nasir Khan Durrani highly appreciated the in time courageous action of the Karak police by saying that excellent policing was reporting from Karak and added that the credit of it goes to DPO and his team and hoped that they will achieve more such success against the outlaws in future too.
The IGP awarded SDPO Banda Daud Shah Muhammad Nazir, SHO Sub Inspector Gul Shahbaraz, Sub Inspector Muhib Ullah, HC Faiz Ullah and Constable Nasrullah with cash prizes and commendation certificates.
