45 law­break­ers ar­rested

RAWALPINDI—Po­lice un­der its on­go­ing drive against anti-so­cial el­e­ments have ar­rested 45 law­break­ers, in­clud­ing 32 vi­o­la­tors of rent­ing rules and il­le­gal Afghan na­tion­als.

Some 11 pis­tols of 30bore with 33 rounds, one 12bore re­peater and a dag­ger were also re­cov­ered from the ar­rested ac­cused, a po­lice spokesman said on Mon­day.

He said Jameel, Kamran, Ab­dul Ashraf, Asif, Tan­veer, Amir Akhtar, Fa­rooq, Arslan, Muham­mad Shafi, Asif Ali, Nawaz and Saeed Ul­lah were sent be­hind the bars for hav­ing il­le­gal weapons and am­mu­ni­tions.

Mean­while, Sad­dar Wah po­lice ar­rested Shan, Dil­dar Hus­sain, Haji Li­aquat, Ibrar, Za­heer, Akhtar, Amin and oth­ers who vi­o­lated rent­ing rules. Sad­dar Wah Po­lice also ar­rested Ab­dul Khaliq, Khan Ali, Mu­nir Ali, Sha­reen Gul, Ab­dul­lah, Aman Gul, Jalil, Sad­dam, Shah Noor, Nazar Muham­mad and other Afghan na­tion­als who could not pro­duce any doc­u­ment for their iden­tity and were re­sid­ing here il­le­gally.—APP
