Women’s empowerment

Pakistan Observer - - FRONT PAGE -

ADNAN DOST No nation can develop until and unless women are side by side with you. I feel really strongly about the topic of women’s empowerment because a large part of the Pakistan population struggle with this problem. However, women’s all over the world have been facing challenge and gender inequalities since the beginning of history women are marginalized. Anyhow, they are not getting any kind of rights.

The constitution gives equal opportunity to women. But unfortunately still we are not able to get the kind of respect, equal opportunities for women. Moreover if we seek help from our Glorious Quran there has mention that man and women rights are equal as far as education, worship, freedom of opinion, choice of spouse, economic freedom and social role is concerned. Than it’s our responsibility to give rights to women because they are part of our life. —Kech, Balochistan
