Po­lice ar­rest kite sell­ers

RAWALPINDI—Rawalpindi po­lice in its crack­down against kite sell­ers ar­rested seven and re­cov­ered 450 kites and 25 kite fly­ing string rolls from the pos­ses­sion of the ac­cused.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice, Pir­wad­hai po­lice net­ted a kite seller namely Mus­ta­keem and re­cov­ered 220 kites and string rolls. Tax­ila po­lice ar­rested Ab­dul Wa­heed and seized 163 kites and string rolls. Air­port po­lice rounded up Sher Za­man with 30 kites and string rolls. R.A.Bazaar po­lice ap­pre­hended Shahzad for hav­ing 20 kites and string rolls. New Town po­lice ar­rested Javed for car­ry­ing seven kites and string rolls while Bani po­lice net­ted Shoaib Javed and Ab­dul Moaiz and re­cov­ered kites and string rolls.—APP
