RCB is­sues no­tices to 452 traders with­out li­cence

RAWALPINDI—Rawalpindi Can­ton­ment Board (RCB) has is­sued 452 no­tices to the shop­keep­ers run­ning their busi­nesses with­out trade li­censes in RCB ar­eas.

Ac­cord­ing to details, RCB has de­cided to take ac­tion in ac­cor­dance with the law against non trade li­cense hold­ers.

RCB, Foods Con­trol De­part­ment in this re­spect con­ducted op­er­a­tions and served warn­ing no­tices to over 452 bak­eries, gen­eral stores, dairy shops, med­i­cal stores, chicken shops and oth­ers in dif­fer­ent ar­eas of Dhoke Syedan Road, Kalma Chowk, Bakra Mandi, Af­shan Colony, Dhoke Mus­ta­keem Road, Tench Bhatta, Mas­rial Road and other ar­eas.

The de­part­ment also re­ceived a large num­ber of ap­pli­ca­tions and is­sued new li­censes to over 224 shop­keep­ers who have met all the re­quire­ments for the trade li­cense.

Mean­while, RCB has also con­fis­cated three truck­load goods from dif­fer­ent mar­kets in its op­er­a­tion against en­croach­ments. Ac­cord­ing to RCB spokesman Qasir Mah­mood, en­croach­ments have been re­moved from Sad­dar, Tench Bhata, Peo­ples Colony, Mas­rial Road, Bakra­mandi, Chor and other ar­eas.—APP
