SRINAGAR—The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has said that civilian killings are part of a well-planned strategy by the authorities.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Filling of graveyards with innocents is a well-planned strategy of the authorities and those crying and delivering sermons on the education and well-being of kids. These self explaining facts of their real face are sufficient to prove their intent. But their eyes behind the veil of lust of power, can hardly see these glaring incidents of cruelty and ruthlessness, by the armed forces on whose support they hold the power.”

Meanwhile, the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu Kashmir in a statement in Srinagar expressed condolence over the demise of Muhammad Akbar Ganie, grandfather of Tehreek-eHurriyet activist Umar Aadil Dar, at Kralpora in Srinagar.

A delegation comprising Abdul Hamid Magray, Zahoor-ul-Haq Gilani and Sajjad Ahmad visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with it.

On the other hand, Tehreek–e-Khawateen Kashmir Chairperson, Zamruda Habib in a statement expressed her deep concern over the killing of Biba Akther of Sangam Nayen area by unknown gun men and burning of young woman in Pampore in domestic violence.—KMS
