Pakistan Muslim League-Functional lawmaker Nusrat Sehr has forgiven provincial minister Imdad Patafi after he apologised to her for using abusive language against her in an assembly session on Saturday. Imdad Patafi stood from his seat, came over to Nusrat Sehr and apologised, putting an ajrak on her head and saying, “I repent for what I have done. I have committed a mistake. Forgive me as a sister would.” Sehr forgave the minister for his deplorable behaviour, and hoped that no member of the assembly would ever treat any female member of the assembly as he had done. According to sources, when Nusrat Sehr came into the Sindh Assembly on Monday, assembly members gathered around her seat and expressed their solidarity with her. Nusrat Sehr thanked Bilawal Bhutto Zardari , Bakhtawar Zardari, and the Pakistan People’s Party leadership for ensuring that she was respected and apologised to.
