Rs600m allocated for setting up new primary schools in Punjab, PA told

LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly was informed on Tuesday that the provincial government has allocated six hundred million rupees for setting up new primary schools under the Punjab Education Foundation. This informatio­n was given by the Education Minister, Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan during Question-Answer hour in the provincial assembly on Tuesday.

He said three hundred thousand teachers are already rendering their services in schools throughout the Province and sixty-five to seventy thousand more teachers will be recruited in near future. To a question from the opposition, Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah Khan said the anti-Pakistan speech of Altaf Hussain has widely been condemned at every forum in the country. He said this speech was a pre-planned attempt to spread anarchy and chaos across the country.
