Rs600m allocated for setting up new primary schools in Punjab, PA told
LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly was informed on Tuesday that the provincial government has allocated six hundred million rupees for setting up new primary schools under the Punjab Education Foundation. This information was given by the Education Minister, Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan during Question-Answer hour in the provincial assembly on Tuesday.
He said three hundred thousand teachers are already rendering their services in schools throughout the Province and sixty-five to seventy thousand more teachers will be recruited in near future. To a question from the opposition, Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah Khan said the anti-Pakistan speech of Altaf Hussain has widely been condemned at every forum in the country. He said this speech was a pre-planned attempt to spread anarchy and chaos across the country.
