Journalist killed in Faisalabad

One journalist was killed and two others were seriously injured when a tractor-trolley hit their car near Faisalabad Pindi Bhattian Road on Monday. According to police, Faisalabad Press Club (FPC) Member Sahar Abbasi, Vice President Ahmad Tahir and photographer Farakh Awan were returning to Faisalabad from Islamabad when a speeding tractortrolley hit their car from the rear on Faisalabad Pindi Bhattian Road. As a result, Sahar Abbasi was fatally injured, while the other two sustained serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Police and rescue officials reached the spot and shifted the deceased and injured to Allied Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
