Copy­writer in space

One ad agency clearly seems to have out­done it­self. In ex­change for max­i­mum likes on its Face­book page, FCB Paris has promised to send one of its cre­atives, Bap­tiste Szuwarski, all the way into space, that too with the help of nearly 37,000 bal­loons. The 25-year-old copy­writer is the light­est mem­ber of the agency’s cre­ative staff, at just 114 pounds, which there­fore makes him the ideal choice for this out­ra­geous task. From March 10, for each Face­book like, the agency has in­flated a bal­loon to help sup­port its mission. Although there’s still a long way to go, the agency’s man­age­ment as well as first- time as­tro­naut Bap­tiste seem quite op­ti­mistic and ex­cited. “Dy­ing is not an op­tion,” says Szuwarski. “At least, for me it isn’t!”
