Magnum opus!

Southasia - - Editor's mail -

I was glad to read about one of the great films of all times – Mughal-e-Azam – in the July issue of South Asia. I must say the writer did justice by providing us with a complete and rare glimpse of the past. South Asia maga- zine has a tradition of covering the vibrant South Asian culture with its detailed and interesting features. I must also congratulate your team on including very timely pieces on the current cultural happenings in and around South Asia. It is always very heartening to read on such diverse topics from book reviews, gender issues and social development to art, culture, language, literature, etc. It keeps us, the South Asian Diaspora, connected with our roots back home and at the same time serves as a gateway to our cultural past. Keep up the good work South Asia!
