All politics is local, they say. Keeping this in mind, the Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate-designates in Delhi were in the process of preparing constituency-specific manifestos for the parliamentary elections. The party had already made it clear that it would release a national manifesto and leave it to the individual candidates to prepare their own manifestos.
Of the seven seats in Delhi, three of the
AAP candidates prepared their own manifestos. However, the party did not intend to force candidates to prepare manifestos as some candidates faced a severe time crunch since their names were declared pretty late.
