When liv­ing in a coun­try like Pak­istan, one has a ten­dency to as­sume that cer­tain prob­lems are only re­stricted to our re­gion and that other coun­tries are ac­tu­ally do­ing bet­ter than us. It just takes one hard look at the sys­tems of each to re­al­ize that, they too, are plagued by is­sues sim­i­lar to ours.

The ar­ti­cle ti­tled, ‘Road to Glory’, was an eye opener for me as it spoke of an is­sue that drives close to home; killing through ‘en­counter’.
