Mag­a­zine has named 28-year-old Fiza Farhan, co-founder of the Buksh Foun­da­tion, in its list of un­der-30 so­cial en­trepreneurs for 2015. The Buksh Foun­da­tion is a mi­cro­fi­nance in­sti­tu­tion and has been op­er­at­ing in Pak­istan since 2009. It brings clean en­ergy projects to the poor and ru­ral ar­eas of the coun­try. The foun­da­tion has trained 135 women as en­ergy en­trepreneurs and brought so­lar-pow­ered lights to 6,750 house­holds across the coun­try.

Fiza Farhan was also nom­i­nated as the “Fu­ture En­ergy Leader” at the World En­ergy Coun­cil in Septem­ber 2014. She is the fourth woman from Pak­istan who has been in­cluded in the Forbes list of young game chang­ers, movers and mak­ers.
