New Record

Southasia - - BRIEFS -

Ahmad Amin Bodla, a Pakistani Taekwondo black belt broke his own Guinness World Record of 79 martial arts full contact knee strikes in one minute by 108 strikes in a minute. The second record was of 58 knuckle push-ups in one minute previously held by an American, Bobby Natoli. Bodla, with 66 knuckle push-ups in a minute, surpassed it.

Last year, he had broken the record of the American Raul Meza of 355 kicks in a single minute. Meza’s record was set three years ago and was uncontested until Bodla made a new one. Bodla is a university student and juggles between his martial arts and academic routine. He has set five Guinness records so far and was awarded a Guinness World Records certificate in 2014 at the Punjab Youth Festival.
