Time to Go

Southasia - - ON RECORD -

I’m surprised the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan has taken this long considering the U.S government first made its announcement back in November 2013. Amidst increased loss of life and billions in taxpayers’ money used for the supposed ‘cause’, the war on terror in Afghanistan is rapidly losing support amongst the American public and the Afghani people alike. However good the intentions of the American government may be, it’s about time they handed over the charge of the safety and security of the country to its own people.

The Afghani people have found an able leader in the form of Ashraf Ghani, who has plans to make the country completely independent of American interference. With a strong grasp on foreign policy and economic management, Ghani will be able to bring the country on to the right track.
