En­gi­neers Af­fil­i­ated

has be­come af­fil­i­ated with the Fed­er­a­tion of En­gi­neer­ing In­sti­tu­tions of Asia and the Pa­cific (FEIAP) Ac­cred­i­ta­tion Sys­tem. The FEIAP Ac­cred­i­ta­tion Sys­tem is sup­ported by UNESCO for sub­stan­tial equiv­a­lence of en­gi­neer­ing qual­i­fi­ca­tions among its mem­ber coun­tries. Ear­lier in 2015, of­fi­cials of FEIAP and the In­sti­tute of En­gi­neers, Malaysia eval­u­ated the en­gi­neer­ing education ac­cred­i­ta­tion sys­tem of the Pak­istan En­gi­neer­ing Coun­cil (PEC) and found it meet­ing the FEIAP’s cri­te­ria. Pak­istani en­gi­neers can now reg­is­ter them­selves as APEC (Asia Pa­cific Eco­nomic Co­op­er­a­tion) En­gi­neers and eas­ily find jobs in FEIAP coun­tries.
