Cal­i­for­nia-based tele­vi­sion gi­ant Netflix has started its ser­vices in Pak­istan, mak­ing its In­ter­net TV ser­vice avail­able in 130 new mar­kets. Now peo­ple in Pak­istan can watch films and TV shows for PKR 850 ($7.99) a month, along with a free of­fer. A lead­ing provider of on-de­mand me­dia stream­ing glob­ally, Netflix started as a mail-or­der DVD ser­vice provider in the United States, but it has now ex­panded its global foot­print to 190 coun­tries, pro­duc­ing orig­i­nal con­tent as well as of­fer­ing an un­lim­ited num­ber of older films and TV shows to more than 70 mil­lion in­ter­na­tional sub­scribers.
