govern­ment in Ra­jasthan (In­dia) has banned kite fly­ing from 6 to 8 in the morn­ing and from 5 to 7 in the evening. This is to en­sure the pro­tec­tion of birds, which mostly fly in the morn­ing and evening and may get in­jured from kites. If a per­son is found fly­ing a kite in th­ese hours, a case will be filed against him un­der sec­tion 188 of the In­dian pe­nal code.
