Panic Button

Southasia - - BRIEFS -

Indian Ministry for Women and Child Development has taken an initiative to ensure women’s safety. Now, all cell phones in India will be equipped with a built-in panic button to assist women when they are in trouble. Facing physical insecurity or harassment, women just need to press the particular button for more than a few seconds to get help immediately. The button will be available in both existing and new mobile phones, while users with old phone sets need to go to nearby dealers to install the button.
