New Univer­sity

is go­ing to es­tab­lish the coun­try’s first women’s univer­sity in the Tap-e-Maran­jan area in Kabul. It will be called ‘Mawlana Afghan-Turk Univer­sity’ and will be set up with the co­op­er­a­tion of Turkey. The univer­sity will be built on 47 acres and will of­fer cour­ses at the bach­e­lor’s, mas­ter’s and doc­toral lev­els in arts and hu­man­i­ties, busi­ness ad­min­is­tra­tion, in­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy, en­gi­neer­ing, phi­los­o­phy, sci­ence and tech­nol­ogy, sta­tis­tics, law, com­merce and busi­ness stud­ies. Afghanistan's Labour and So­cial Affairs min­istry will pro­vide train­ing and em­ploy­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties to the univer­sity grad­u­ates.
