Free Lab Tests

Southasia - - BRIEFS -

In India, the State Government of Delhi is going to provide free MRI and CT scan facilities in private laboratories to poor patients with less than Rs. 3 lakh annual income. To subsidise medical tests and provide free medicines to bona fide citizens of the capital, the government will use the money saved from timely construction of roads, bridges and flyovers. In Delhi on an average, it takes more than a year to get an MRI or CT scan done in a government hospital. Initially, seven privately-run radiology centres in New Delhi will provide the free facility.
