The Malaysia- based video stream­ing firm, Iflix has started its ser­vices in Pak­istan. The Video- On- De­mand ( VOD) plat­form has part­ner­ships with 160 stu­dios and in­ter­na­tional con­tent dis­trib­u­tors, such as Dis­ney, Fox, BBC, Warner Bros, Sony Pic­tures, NBC Univer­sal, Paramount, CBS, Me­dia Prima, Metro- Gold­wyn- Mayer ( MGM), etc. Prior to Pak­istan, it has launched the brand in Malaysia, Thai­land, Brunei, In­done­sia, Sri Lanka, the Philip­pines and the Mal­dives. Now peo­ple in Pak­istani can watch movies, dra­mas and TV shows for PKR 300 ($ 2.89) a month, with an an­nual sub­scrip­tion of PKR 2880 ($ 27.80). In July 2016, Iflix crossed four mil­lion in its sub­scriber base in­ter­na­tion­ally since its launch in May, 2015.
