A mes­sage of Mr. K.Tok­tor­baev, Charge d’Af­fairs of the Kyr­gyz Repub­lic to the Is­lamic Repub­lic of Pak­istan de­voted to the joint Cel­e­bra­tion of the 70th An­niver­sary of Victory in the Great Pa­tri­otic War

I t gives me im­mense plea­sure to make a note in the jour­nal «Diplo­matic in­sight» which is de­voted to the Cel­e­bra­tion of 70th an­niver­sary of Victory in the Great Pa­tri­otic War. As you know, the Kyr­gyz peo­ple, along with the peo­ples and suf­fered enor­mous ca­su­al­ties in the Great Pa­tri­otic War. By that time, many Kyr­gyz peo­ple stood up in de­fense of their Soviet home­land. Over the en­tire pe­riod of the bloody war in hu­man his­tory, fra­ter­nal re­publics of the Soviet Union fought about 400 thou­sand Kyr­gyz cit­i­zens and one third of them died on the fronts of war or get miss­ing cov­ered them­selves with ever­last­ing glory and hero­ism. More than 70 Kyr­gyz were awarded the Grand ti­tle - Hero of the Soviet Union, thou­sands of them with or­ders and medals. At the home front, un­der the slo­gan “Ev­ery­thing for the front, ev­ery­thing for the victory,” Kyr­gyz peo­ple did feats of la­bor. In se­vere war con­di­tions, the Kyr­gyz Soviet Repub­lic was a place where there were many hos­pi­tals from heart­land evac­u­ated. Af­ter get­ting treat­ment in Soviet Kyr­gyzs­tan, thou­sands of wounded soviet sol­diers back to the front­line. The en­tire repub­lic had help to nurse of the moth­er­land de­fend­ers, giv­ing them their food, medicine the harsh war times, the Kyr­gyz peo­ple gave their per­sonal sav­ings, the lat­ter value, strength and en­ergy with be­lief that it thereby brings closer de­feat of the en­emy and the victory. Sa­cred duty of our and fu­ture gen­er­a­tions is to re­mem­ber and honor sa­cred feat of our grand­fa­thers, grand­fa­thers, fa­thers and moth­ers by which enor­mous loss of life and de­struc­tion this Great victory was achieved. It is also nec­es­sary to pre­serve time con­nec­tiv­ity and con­ti­nu­ity of gen­er­a­tions in or­der to pre­vent the re­oc­cur­rence of the con­di­tions that led to the be­gin­ning of the Great Pa­tri­otic War.
