“OIC and GCC could not even have played a vital role in Palestinian issue and the big Arab states always render support which in fact leads toward sectarian split as the case of Yemen which OIC and GCC should have solved by peaceful dialogues”. These are the remarks made by Justice (R) Ali Nawaz Chowhan, Chairman, National Commission for Human Rights, Govt of Pakistan who was the Chief Guest of the Seminar on “International Al-Quds Day: Role and Responsibility of International Community” organized by Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies. He true leader who can defend international conspiracy and rid Muslims of internal rifts and corruptions. Muslim should not only rely on United Nations’ institutions , of course they are doing well but more than a billion Muslims around the world should also look head to set up their own institutional setup, for that International Muslim Court of Justice would be the best right now” Mrs. Farhat Asif, President of the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies in her opening remarks said that atrocities on the world are mostly in the Islamic countries such as recent Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Burma (Rohingya), Cyprus, Srebrenica. The purpose is to commemorate the day of Al-Quds to bring sympathy and condolence for the people of Palestine, which are suffering badly by the Israeli domination. She said that solution is in education is one of the best element which creates loyal leadership and propagate the notion of through this way. Mr. Husni Embassy of State of Palestine to

Pakistan has highlighted the historical perspective of Palestine and related it to contemporary facts and hard realities. Jerusalem, international celebration united struggle against oppression and aggression for the whole Muslim Umma”. “Of course, Jerusalem is a holly and scared place for the whole Muslim community and Muslim people belonging to different races have been

living there since last decades regardless to the threat imposed by Israeli oppression. Israel must respect UN 4th Geneva Convention, art. 45 which clearly denies rights of citizenship in occupied area”, he added. A big responsibility is levied upon United Nations to implement its resolutions, he concluded. Mr. Mehdi Abadi, DHM, Embassy of Iran emphasized on the efforts of Iranian late spiritual leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini who declared Al-Quds Day, the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, as an international day of struggle against Israel and for the liberation of Jerusalem. Khomeini at large criticized the genocide of the Muslim and according to his ideology; ‘existence of Islam is related to the existence of the Muslim. Muslims are more than a billion populations in this world and today they are divided and prey to international conspiracy. TheQuds day is an ideal opportunity to unite Muslims around the world and they should address their vigilance to counter Zionists, a very small minority in the world but dominated over Muslims”. Dr. Muhammad Khan, Chairperson, Department of International Relations, National Defense University said that Muslim Ummah has deviated from its stance and abundance of conspiracies and proxies can be found in Islamic Countries. The role of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is discouraging as on bloodshed, human rights abuses, oppression in the Muslim world, the organization has remained silent. The only one way is to protect Muslims i.e. unity and diversity. Diplomats, parliamentarians, members of civil society, academia, youth participated in the seminar in large number. ###
