The production of diesel oil and furnace oil also increased by 52.08 percent and 9.48 percent respectively whereas the output of solvant naptha witnessed positive growth of 12.19 percent.
The industrial items that witnessed negative growth in production included kerosene oil, output of which decreased by 2.32 percent whereas the production of jute batching oil, LPG and lubricating oil decreased by 20.08 percent, 9.48 percent and 0.10 percent respectively.
Meanwhile, on year-on-year basis, the production of kerosene oil increased by 19.50 percent in June 2014 compared to production of June 2013, the PBS data revealed.
Similarly, the production of diesel oil increased by 44.83 percent, solvant naptha by 24.10 percent.
On the other hand, the products that witnessed negative growth in production in June 2014 included jet fuel, output of which decreased by 1.18 percent.
