Di­a­logue best way out: Zar­dari

SHANGAI: For­mer Pres­i­dent and Co-Chair­man of Pak­istan Peo­ple's Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zar­dari has said that di­a­logue, di­a­logue and only di­a­logue is the best way to set­tle po­lit­i­cal stand­off.

Talk­ing to dif­fer­ent gath­er­ings in China on Fri­day, he said that PPP be­lieves in talks and did not go to ex­treme in pol­i­tics.

"It is my wish to set­tle po­lit­i­cal crises through peace­ful means," he stated.

He added that peo­ple sit­ting in protest have ac­cepted the re­sults of gen­eral elec­tions de­spite of rig­ging.

Talk­ing about Pak-In­dia re­la­tion, he said: "We want good re­la­tions with In­dia and sin­cere ef­forts should be car­ried out to set­tle all is­sues with New Delhi."

Talk­ing about Afghanistan, he said that NATO troops are with­draw­ing from Kabul whereas Pak­istan should sup­port its neigh­bour. - On­line
