PTI, Govt ready for final showdown on Nov 30th
ISLAMABAD: As time is running short towards November 30 rally of Pakistan Tehreek-eInsaf, the government and the opposite side have completed their preparations for the final showdown.
Political parties including Jamaat-e-Islami and Pakistan Awami Tehreek ( PAT) have refused to partake in the rally. The PTI has decided to enter its workers in the federal capital two days before the formal date of the rally.
On the other side the administration has also finalized security plan and police contingents arrived in Islamabad from Punjab and Azad Kashmir. Restaurants, petrol pumps and other public places are feared to close down in order to stop gatherings.
According to the security sources six unites of police to disperse people and six unites of women police arrived in the capital. Frontier Constabulary (FC) can also called in case of emergency.
Sources said restaurants and general bus stands are under observation of the security forces in order to stop workers of the PTI to assemble in Islamabad. They further said entrance of the capital would be sealed from Thursday night as containers and wires would be used in this regards.
