SAARC can play its role for durable peace: Muneer

KARACHI: Chief Ex­ec­u­tive, Trade De­vel­op­ment Au­thor­ity of Pak­istan and Pa­tron-inChief KATI, S M Muneer said that Kath­mandu SAARC Con­fer­ence would play ac­tive role for durable peace in south Asia.

Fu­ture of en­tire South Asia is af­fil­i­ated with peace­ful re­la­tion be­tween Pak­istan and In­dia. SAARC coun­try should form a block like Euro­pean coun­tries and should in­tro­duce com­mon SARRC cur­rency, its pos­i­tive ef­fects would see on en­tire South Asia.

This was stated by him on suc­cess­ful visit of Prime Min­is­ter Nawaz Sharif at the oc­ca­sion of SAARC con­fer­ence.

S M Muneer said that trade trans­ac­tion would in­crease due to is­suance of com­mon SAARC cur­rency and stan­dard of liv­ing of South Asia would be bet­ter.
