NBP ATM sys­tem re­stored

Staff Cor­re­spon­dent I S L A M A B A D : T h e Na­tional Bank of Pak­istan (NBP) Auto Teller Ma­chine ( ATM) sys­tem which was out of or­der due to main­te­nance, has been re­stored and func­tion­ing smoothly, a top of­fi­cial of the Bank told APP here Wed­nes­day.

Re­gional Chief NBP Shah Ja­han said that bank­ing sys­tem was switched over to new In­for­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy Sys­tem which caused in­con­ve­nience to the bank's val­ued cus­tomers in the past two-day.

"We have in­tro­duced new IT based core bank­ing sys­tem which would fa­cil­i­tate the clients in with­drawal of their amounts through ATMs and would now face no prob­lem", Shah Ja­han re­marked.

"The ATMs of NBP main branch are also work­ing smoothly and cus­tomers are with­draw­ing their amounts smoothly and with­out any hin­der­ance", he re­marked.
