Pakistan, Turkey enjoy cordial ties
CJP Saqib Nisar tells Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister
ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar on Friday said that Pakistan and Turkey have cordial ties and possess common social values, norms and religion therefore both can benefit by sharing experience and knowledge.
The Chief Justice said when a Turkish delegation has called on him.
A Turkish delegation headed by Yavuz Selim Kiran, Deputy Minister of Foreign Minister, accompanied by Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan and comprising other officers of Turkish met Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar at Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad. The delegation was on visit to Pakistan.
Chief Justice of Pakistan welcomed the delegation. The CJP also gave them an insight into the judicial system of Pakistan.
The delegation thanked the Chief Justice of Pakistan for sparing his time. Yavuz Selim Kiran, Deputy Minister of Foreign Minister presented souvenir to Chief Justice of Pakistan as token of respect and gesture of goodwill.
The CJP also reciprocated the gesture by presenting a memento on the occasion. - NNI
