Pak­istan, Turkey en­joy cor­dial ties

CJP Saqib Nisar tells Turk­ish Deputy For­eign Min­is­ter

IS­LAM­ABAD: Chief Jus­tice of Pak­istan, Jus­tice Saqib Nisar on Fri­day said that Pak­istan and Turkey have cor­dial ties and pos­sess com­mon so­cial val­ues, norms and re­li­gion there­fore both can ben­e­fit by shar­ing ex­pe­ri­ence and knowl­edge.

The Chief Jus­tice said when a Turk­ish del­e­ga­tion has called on him.

A Turk­ish del­e­ga­tion headed by Yavuz Se­lim Ki­ran, Deputy Min­is­ter of For­eign Min­is­ter, ac­com­pa­nied by Ih­san Mustafa Yur­dakul, Turk­ish Am­bas­sador to Pak­istan and com­pris­ing other of­fi­cers of Turk­ish met Chief Jus­tice of Pak­istan Jus­tice Mian Saqib Nisar at Supreme Court of Pak­istan, Is­lam­abad. The del­e­ga­tion was on visit to Pak­istan.

Chief Jus­tice of Pak­istan wel­comed the del­e­ga­tion. The CJP also gave them an in­sight into the ju­di­cial sys­tem of Pak­istan.

The del­e­ga­tion thanked the Chief Jus­tice of Pak­istan for spar­ing his time. Yavuz Se­lim Ki­ran, Deputy Min­is­ter of For­eign Min­is­ter pre­sented sou­venir to Chief Jus­tice of Pak­istan as to­ken of re­spect and ges­ture of good­will.

The CJP also re­cip­ro­cated the ges­ture by pre­sent­ing a me­mento on the oc­ca­sion. - NNI
